Project Development

The Challenge

Carry out the national transportation of imported equipment from its reception to Ica, without damage and within the established deadlines, ensuring the continuity of the construction of Peru’s first solar project.
The Challenge

The Strategy

Respect the initial cost projection made with the client, holding biweekly meetings to adjust the plan according to operational alerts. Precision with flexibility.

Project Design

Diseño
Meetings were held with project areas, plant representatives, suppliers, and strategic partners, which allowed us to develop a comprehensive proposal, including the technical and customs strategy.
A clear operational flow was designed and documented, allowing us to anticipate scenarios and define responsibilities from origin to final destination.
The Design
The planning was structured based on technical sessions with all involved parties, prioritizing operational clarity and anticipating critical scenarios.
Logistics routes, response times, and key control points were defined to ensure full preparation before the start of each movement.
The Strategy
The operation was carried out with maximum coordination and attention to detail. Dispatches were made from 2:00 a.m., including shifts in demanding conditions, such as crossing desert areas towards Ica, ensuring punctual and incident-free transportation, including various components such as solar panels.
Fieldwork was coordinated daily with the site manager, adjusting deliveries according to the construction progress and the operational priorities of the project.

The Challenges

Each component coming from China had to meet the country’s entry requirements.
A thorough review of all items was carried out, ensuring that the documentation and technical specifications were in order before their nationalization.
Detailed verification of imported supplies
The key was to maintain smooth communication between the construction company, the client, and our team.
It was necessary to align timelines, priorities, and operational windows so that each stage progressed without interference.
Coordination between multiple fronts
Site access had soft soils, which required quick solutions to prevent units from getting stuck.
Internal routes were reinforced with planks, ensuring stability and continuity in unloading operations.

During the execution, critical unplanned requirements were added: the client requested special maneuvers to unload transformation centers.
We responded immediately, managing 70-ton telescopic cranes and forklifts, precisely meeting the delivery times on site.
